Returns & Exchanges
We want you to feel confident purchasing from Mainlinen. If you change your mind, returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase, provided the item meets the conditions below.
Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges
You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of purchase provided:
- The item is unused
- All original packaging and labels are intact
- The product has not been opened, washed or used
If approved, you may choose:
- A refund to your original payment method
- Or an exchange for another item (subject to availability)
For exchanges:
- Any price difference will be adjusted accordingly
- Return freight is the responsibility of the customer
- Shipping costs for the replacement item will also apply
Delivery charges from the original order are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning items, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned goods.
Hygiene-Sensitive Items
For health and hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on opened:
- Pillows (including Feather & Down)
- Quilts
- Mattress Toppers
- Mattress Protectors
If you purchase multiple units and open one to trial, any remaining items may be returned provided they remain sealed in their original vacuum packaging.
If you are trying a product for the first time, we recommend purchasing a single item initially to ensure it suits your comfort preferences.
Custom-Made Products
Bed runners and decorative cushions are custom manufactured upon confirmation and are not eligible for return or refund due to change of mind.
How to Lodge a Return

Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding approval.
If approved:
- A refund will be processed to your original method of payment
- Please allow up to 10 business days for processing
Sale Items
Sale or discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for return due to change of mind.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law.
If an item has a major problem, you are entitled to a refund, replacement or compensation. A major problem includes where the item:
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from the description
- Does not perform as expected and cannot be easily remedied
- Would not have been purchased had you known about the issue
If the issue is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.
Proof of purchase is required for all claims. Returned goods may be assessed prior to resolution.
